Pomegranate Cabbage Salad

Salads are always very delicious and a great accompanying dish for your main meals. That being said we want to suggest to you this amazing Paleo salad that is made mainly of cabbage, pomegranate and carrots. Since fall and winter are slowly approaching, all these ingredients will soon be much easier to find so it’s the perfect time to learn how to prepare this recipe.

Pomegranate Cabbage Salad

Breakdown:

Feeds: 4 people
Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups of Shredded Cabbage (you can use red cabbage, green/white or a mix of both)
  • 1 Shredded Carrot
  • ½ Cup of Pomegranate Arils
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Parsley
  • ½ Cup Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Maple Syrup or Pomegranate Molasses (Optional)

Instructions:

Take the shredded cabbage, carrot, parsley and pomegranate arils and put them all in a big bowl. Mix these ingredients until they are thoroughly mixed.

In a little jar (or bowl) put the rest of the ingredients and start shaking it/mixing them. After you’re done let it rest and it’s ready to use. Take this freshly made dressing mixture and toss it all together with the previously made mix of salad ingredients.

You can prepare the dressing and the salad separately, save them in the fridge and eat them whenever you want. Enjoy this recipe and if you try it out, don’t forget to let us know if you liked it.
