This is a Paleo recipe that’s finger-licking good and you will most definitely cook it more than once during your Paleo diet! It’s perfect for a lunch meal, but this protein packed meal is great for dinner also, especially after a workout. It’s not very hard to prepare, so lets just jump right into this one.
Breakdown:
Difficulty: Medium
Feeds: 2 people
Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 12 Ounces Chicken Thighs
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- ¼ Cup of Honey
- 2 Green Onions (Sliced)
- 1 Garlic Clove (Minced)
- 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes (Crushed)
- 1 Tsp Ground Ginger
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
Before getting started, turn on your oven to 375F so it is ready to cook the chicken when we get to that step!
Get a relatively large pan and heat the oil. Then add the ginger, onions, garlic and pepper flakes. Cook all the ingredients for about 1 minute and then add the chicken thighs.
Cook the chicken on both sides until it becomes brown and then put it on a baking sheet (only the chicken). Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake the chicken for about 25-35 minutes, until it is completely cooked.
While you wait for the chicken to cook, add the broth and honey on the sauce that’s left on the pan and start boiling/simmering it until the amount of sauce/glaze is reduced to ½.
When the chicken is done and you are ready to serve it, put some of the sauce/glaze from the pan onto the chicken and you’re ready to go! Now you’re ready to enjoy baked chicken with your own homemade glaze!
