Paleo Crockpot Meatballs with Sauce

These delicious Paleo and Whole 30 meatballs are very easy to make, you just need to own a Crockpot . They can be prepared very fast and if you have a lot of people for a party/gathering, they can save your life! The meatballs can be great for lunch or dinner, so learn how to make them below.

Paleo Crockpot Meatballs with Sauce

Ingredients:

Meatballs

  • 1 & ¾ Lbs Ground Beef (85% Lean)
  • ¼ Cup Blanched Almond Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • ¾ Tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Pinch of Crushed Red Pepper for Taste
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley (Chopped) – Optional

Sauce

  • 1-14 Oz Can Diced Tomatoes (with Basil and Garlic)
  • 1-28 Oz Can Crushed Tomatoes (with Basil)
  • 1-6 Oz Can of Tomato Paste
  • ½ Onion Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Garlic (Chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Oregano (Chopped Leaves)
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • Sea Salt

Instructions:

First we will prepare the meatballs. In a small bowl mix the almond flour, ½ tsp of the sea salt, onion and garlic powder, the crushed red pepper and the Italian seasoning. In a large bowl put the meat and spread the remaining sea salt on top of it. Add the egg, the mix we prepared in the first bowl with the almond flour and start mixing it with your hands until it is ready.

Preheat your oven and get a baking sheet. Start making the meatballs from the mix and you should be able to form around 20 of them. Cook the meatballs for around -4 minutes, just till they become a little brown and remove them.

Now turn on your slow cooker/Crockpot. Add the meatballs and all the sauce ingredients. Stir them gently as you do not want to break the meatballs. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours.
