Crock Pot Whole 30 Cabbage Chicken Soup

If you miss eating noodles during your Whole30 or Paleo diet, then this next recipe can help you with that craving. Many people have compared this cabbage chicken soup to noodles, but we will leave that up to you to decide. In the meantime, here’s how to prepare this delicious Paleo and Whole 30 friendly soup using a Crock Pot.

Crock Pot Whole 30 Cabbage Chicken Soup

  • 2-3 Chicken Breasts
  • ½ Head of Cabbage
  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 Celery Stalks (Chopped)
  • ¾ Cup Carrots (Chopped)
  • ½ Cup Zucchini (Chopped)
  • 1 Yellow Onion (Small, Diced)
  • 3 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
  • 1 Tsp Dried Basil
  • ½ Tsp Dried Oregano
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil


Put some olive oil in the Crock Pot and add the chicken breasts. Add the chopped up celery, carrots, zucchini, onion and garlic. Then add the basil, oregano, some salt and pepper and finally the chicken broth.

Cook the soup on high for about 2 hours and then chop the cabbage and add it in the Crock Pot. Cook it on high for another 2 hours and then it’s done!
